The futility of war

I hoped to avert an unnecessary war by reawakening the giants from the Myths, reminding them of the long history of the island we are on, but it was useless. All their minds are singularly driven by their lust for power. Any reason they give is just an excuse. They arent going to fix the world or save it, they just want to control it.
But, my dear friend Steiner, we can still prevent the worst outcome, which would be that one this gangs gets a fully functional massive Collective Mind Computer. No one should have that much power. I promise you that the giants will go back to sleep once this is over. My friends and I are no interested in World domination, we just want to live among you. I hope our interactions in Mykonos have shown you our new selves, but I'd understand your reluctance to take my word. I hope our actions will make it easier.
